Lunch Break Yoga

Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:15 – 1:15pm 

At Brigid’s loft ~ 280 Quincy St (above Bazaar Girls Yarn Store)

A slow paced, gentle class combining Hatha and Restorative yoga with space for breath awareness and meditation. Props are provided including blocks and straps, a couple blankets and sandbags for weight assistance. Temperature is about 70 degrees F.

Yin

Explore and descend deep into your inner being in this quiet, restorative yin yoga practice. Postures are held for 3-7 minutes to open the fascias (connective tissues) and the meridians (energy channels) in the body. This is a practice of complete surrender to allow time and gravity to open the body naturally. The last 10-15 minutes of class is devoted to meditation for integration. This is a great class for those seeking pain relief, emotional healing, or simply to slow down and turn inward. 

Hatha Vinyasa

A warm, energizing yoga practice combining a traditional Hatha style of holding postures with a Vinyasa style syncing breath to movement. This is a class for those with any level of yoga experience who desire to build strength and flexibility, deepen their posture alignment, and explore breath work and creative sequencing. Classes offer modifications, hands-on-adjustments, as well as opportunities to explore deeper asana expressions.
